It’s grows looks very much like Agapanthus but the leaves are wider and more robust. Once the flowers and fruit are visible there is no doubt. The species with the flowers and fruit standing up are used.

The plant can stop things happening. You have to supply the instruction of what has to stop.
Needs enough moisture so it often rows better in the shade when the moisture is scarse.
